Tree Series
As I've mentioned elsewhere, the image elements I look for are the abstract ones: line, shape, texture, color.
Trees figure prominently in my work, it seems to me, because these elements are all readily represented in them...
...That said, the image of something rooted in the earth, reaching up towards the sky, may be a symbol I haven't yet fully appreciated.
